Bland kyrkor & öl....i München

Just in case anybody from the course would happen to pop by to look at the pictures I will write a few lines in english as well :). Just arriving from the intense course in München, those 30 degrees on the up side of zero (yei, I got the real summer heat at last!) made me wonder how to combine the Business casual clothing with the weather, but thanks to the air conditioned facilities and the transportation back & forth it was actually a piece of cake...

It´s SO good with a cold beer in the heat! I´m normally not a big beer drinker, but this week it became more than usual (although not THAT many anyhow...), the dark beer was truly yummy....

You won´t find any photos of my newfound friends from the course in this blog (sorry about that, they´re a bunch of really nice people) so you will have to make do with the things I could observe down town....churches everywhere and even more Biergartens!

These guys were playing REALLY good, somekind of music I had never heard before. Then I happened to see a documentary about Djingis Khan during the weekend and they were playing that same kind of music so I suppose those street musicians were playing mongolian music, very cool!

The church with the cupula  is called Frauenkirche (Cathedral church of our Lady) and you find it next to Marienplatz, very nice inside and just outside is a little oasis where you can dip your warm and swollen feet in the water while taking a rest in the shadows :)

Vid Marienplatz och därikring...
On and around Marienplatz....

Not far from Marienplatz you find Karlsplatz with the huge fountain...here a few pics from around there...

...och så lite blandade intryck...
...and them some mixed impressions...

This house had a special story about a rich man who had a monkey...that monkey took a baby from its crib one day and sat with the baby in a window in the wooden part of the house, giving all people a good scare...however it ended well and the baby was returned to the crib by the monkey...

Ett sätt att uppleva München!
One way of experiencing Munich!

Thanks for now Munich, beautiful city....haha, I had no pics of the beer!!

When I got home again my little family was waiting for me with this creation :)
